Training Zones

Overview

Training zones help you target the right intensity during workouts. SteadyState supports heart rate, pace, and power zones for different sports.

Zone Types

Heart Rate Zones

  • Based on your Lactate Threshold Heart Rate (LTHR)

  • Used across all sports

Pace Zones

  • For running, hiking, and walking

  • Based on your Lactate Threshold Pace (LTP)

Power Zones

  • For cycling and power-based sports

  • Based on your Functional Threshold Power (FTP)

Setting Up Zones

  1. Go to Account Settings β†’ Zones

  2. Select the sport type

  3. Choose your zone type (Heart Rate, Pace, or Power)

  4. Enter your threshold value (LTHR, LTP, or FTP)

  5. Zones are automatically calculated based on your threshold

Customizing Zones

  • Adjust the min and max values for each zone

  • Add or remove zones as needed

  • Choose a methodology (Default, Karvonen, or Percentage)

  • Set up different zones for different sports
